As part of its Autumn Winter 2016 collection, Chinti and Parker teamed up with the Dutch cult pop-art bunny character to create a capsule of playful cashmere sweaters and cotton t-shirts featuring Miffy.

This new collaborative capsule titled 'Chinti and Parker Meets Miffy' features Italian cashmere sweaters, and the softest cotton t-shirts emblazoned with the iconic bunny.

Japanese designer Teppei Fujita started his career as a pattern maker at Yohji Yamamoto, and established sulvam - Latin for improvisation, in 2013. He launched his first collection for Autumn Winter 2014 in Japan, and immediately won the Tokyo Fashion Award. With emphasis on alluring masculinity, Fujita wants to portray through clothing an original quality that results from bringing together unlooked-for elements.

Founded in 2011 by Stephanie Danan and Justin Kern, Co is a Los Angeles-based womenswear brand with a thoughtful approach to design and luxury.  Combining their experiences in fashion and film, the couple launched their first collection with a short film starring French actress Elodie Bouchez. It instantly captured the attention of the fashion industry, and the brand’s audience has grown with each subsequent collection. 

Fabrication is at the heart of every Co collection. A great deal of attention is devoted to researching, selecting, and developing fabrics, focusing on rich textures sourced from the finest mills in Europe and Japan. It is the multisensory experience of fabric sourcing that typically sparks the inspiration of a collection’s theme or direction. These fabrics are the foundation of the luxury experience, as the feeling of a garment on the skin goes beyond fashion, trend, or hype. 

The silhouettes serve to balance the brand’s influences and inspirations with the demands of the modern woman’s lifestyle. Co returns to the basic touchstones of femininity and romanticism, ease and functionality, infusing Old World soigné with the more relaxed influences of Danan and Kern’s native California.

Combining American sportswear design with classical symbols from the East, souvenir jackets are the exemplar of cross-cultural cool. With the special capsule collection of souvenir jackets, saam1 brings craftsmanship and Chinese heritage exclusively to Lane Crawford customers.

Known as sukajan, the garments originated in post-WWII Japan, where American servicemen used Japanese and Chinese dragons and tigers, among other Eastern motifs, to customise their flight jackets. To rework this trend, London’s Central Saint Martins-educated, Hong Kong-based designer Joseph Li was invited to interpret the Eastern spirit into contemporary clothing. Featuring the intricate embroidery of animals from the Chinese zodiac, including the tiger, dragon and monkey, the souvenir jackets are all made in the finest silk. Besides the zodiac animals, Li also embroidered Chinese numerological charts on the bombers, to explore the idea of “how numbers order our lives in today’s digital world”.

Chinese motifs, quality fabrics and modern, sportswear-influenced shapes are at the centre of Li’s brand, saam1, founded in 2015. Taking eclectic inspiration from grime artist Skepta, Bruce Lee, Jean-Michele Basquiat and Maxine Buchi, Li combines influences from new and old pop culture with minimalist shapes and bold details. These jackets are the ultimate embodiment of East meets West − a modern staple reworked in safe hands.
