Founded in Piccadilly in 1707, Fortnum & Mason is a British store supplying fine food, beverage and gift selections. 

 

This year, Lane Crawford features more than 65 signature products of Fortnum & Mason, including Famous Tea, Green Tea, Classic World Tea and Herbal & Fruit Infusions. Every tea comes in the loose-leaf and tea-bag varieties, including the best-selling Royal Blend and Earl Grey Classic. The perennial teatime favourites, Fortnum & Mason’s delicious Piccadilly, Chocolate and Classic biscuit selection tins, together with beautifully designed chinaware are also offered. 

 

In addition, there are four extravagant bespoke hampers for Lane Crawford — The Tea Hamper, The Champagne and Chocolates Gift Box, The Superb Selection and The Luxury Hamper. They have been desirable indulgences for centuries, like Charles Dickens who had famously penned about them in 1851.

 

 

Starting from the October 27, 2014, the Fortnum & Mason collection is exclusively available in all Lane Crawford stores in Hong Kong and lanecrawford.com. During Christmas, the brand will have festive pop-up spaces at Lane Crawford’s ifc mall, Canton Road and Pacific Place stores, which replicates the iconic façade and interiors of the Fortnum & Mason London Piccadilly flagship store.

Loquet London is a new British luxury jewellery label created by Sheherazade Goldsmith with her friend Laura Bailey that allows the wearer to create their own bespoke locket using charms and precious gems.


"Every 'Loquet' tells a story. Each charm represents an emotion, a special memory. What's in your world? What's in your heart?" says Sheherazade Goldsmith.

 

     

 


Sheherazade Goldsmith has introduced a contemporary approach to the age old idea of a keepsake locket. The gold framed crystal 'Loquet' is designed to open and be personalised with collectable charms and birthstones. From a lucky horseshoe, a gold initial, a September sapphire or a diamond studded shooting star. Each 'Loquet' is a unique and bespoke gift, a love letter coded in charms. Loquet London’s lockets and charms let the modern women put their own twist on the age-old locket tradition by carrying stories close to their hearts and telling personal stories of life, love and precious memories.

New Brand In - Song For The Mute

 

 

Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty are the masterminds behind the Australian based label, Song for the Mute. Renowned for its over-riding attention to detail, the brand is also epitomised by its use of bespoke fabrics of Italian and Japanese origin.


 


In 2011 the label became the first menswear brand in 15 years to win the prestigious L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival Designer Award and followed that up with international success, taking out the Young Designer of the Year Award and being given the honour of closing the inaugural Singapore Men's Fashion Week. In 2014 the brand opened their first flagship retail space and online store, while at MBFWA the same year they debuted their upcoming collection ‘GREY’ to an expectant Australian and International audience as the closing show of the week.


Song for the Mute’s latest Fall/Winter collection ‘GREY’ builds on the brands commitment to fabric driven garments. Crafted from virgin wool blends, alpaca and with further development of their paraffin and resin coated fabrics this seasons subsequent construction aims to heighten those tactile sensations.

As with any Song for the Mute collection fabric plays both the starting point and the centerpiece in each garment and ‘GREY’ really builds on the brands commitment to fabric driven garments. This Fall/Winter collection Song for the Mute have experimented heavily with alpaca and mohair fabrics, though wool blends are still the mainstay of this winter collection. ‘GREY’ marks a center, a middle point in the growth of the brand as they meld their darker more tailored aesthetic with a younger, more relaxed sportswear offering the brand is continuing to grow.

Valentina Rosa Assoluto, a luxe addition to the Valentino line, is an exquisite fragrance of Taif roses. It comes in a sleek glass bottle in luscious pink. The Maison entrusts Valentina’s master perfumers, Hamid Merati-Kashani and Olivier Cresp, with the creation of this stunning rose.

Bonding between the Oriental fragrance art and Italian perfumery tradition, Valentino has chosen four bouquets to compose Rosa Assoluto. It starts with the precious Taif rose, providing a potent fragrance as its velvety petals are enveloped in rich almond and praline caramel. The rose of Bulgaria creates a fruity perfume in pears and spices, while the Centifolia rose diffuses a strong scent of honey and leather. Finally, the rosebud presents its freshness through resonating to the powerful patchouli and dry woods. Just as Valentino woman of great versatility, each bloom has its own character. Lane Crawford is thrilled to present the trunk show of Roberto Coin, from Sep 26 to Oct 12 at Lane Crawford Canton Road and from Oct 15 to Oct 26 at Lane Crawford ifc mall.

 

           


“I thought it was the most romantic way to wish the best to all people wearing my pieces,” says Roberto Coin. According to an ancient belief, wearing a ruby close to the skin promoted long life, health and happiness. As an innovative retailer with a unique edit, Lane Crawford is collaborating with Christine Lau, an emerging Chinese designer who joined its “Created in China” programme in 2013 to launch a collection of Lane Crawford x CHICTOPIA beauty pouches this September. The collection features three enchanting butterfly prints in a romantic palette of black, champagne and an exclusive violet colour for Lane Crawford, inspired by Chictopia’s feminine AW14 pre-collection. The inspiration comes from the metamorphosis of a butterfly symbolising Christine’s new beginning after her wedding. This satin zippered beauty pouch pampers and protects your favourite cosmetic items while you’re on the road; it also comes with a matching hand-held mirror to ensure you look fabulous all day long.
